Galaxy S7/S7 edge demand pushes Samsung to record profit in over two years

Samsung has reported its monetary results for Q2 (the quarter finishing June 30), uncovering an income of KRW 50.94 trillion (around $45.2 billion) and a working benefit of KRW 8.14 trillion (or $7.22 billion). The income was up 5% y-o-y, while working benefit rose 18%.
This is Samsung's best quarterly execution since mid 2014.

The South Korean organization's portable unit represented more than half of the aggregate income and in addition benefit. "Samsung's income enhanced QOQ because of solid offers of its leader Galaxy S7 and S7 edge cell phones," the firm said in a public statement.

"Also the organization accomplished development in the second quarter by keeping up the gainfulness of mid-to low-end models, for example, the Galaxy An and J arrangement, and enhancing the item blend by raising the business extent of the Galaxy S7 edge to more than 50 percent."

For the second from last quarter, Samsung is counts on "another expansive screen leader cell phone" to keep up the business force - obviously the organization is discussing the Galaxy Note7 here.
